The Church is the body of Christ. It is composed of everyone—throughout history—who have ever trusted in Jesus.

A church is also a local fellowship of believers (such as Belay)—committed to one another and the mission of Jesus—who gather regularly for worship and instruction with recognized leadership, practice the ordinances (baptism and communion), and function as a team and family.
